Oh but thats not all that it means to be a hero. Being a hero can mean so many different things. From the volunteer fire fighters to the people serving their country in the military.The word hero in the world we live in today is an opinion, and here is mine.
Bravery is one quality that I think it is important for a hero to express, and in my opinion the most important. Bravery is the act of overcoming your fears. It is going to any mesure to insure what you think is right is going to happen. Even if it leads to self injury or in some cases death. Being brave does not mean that you do not have fear it just means you have mastered it.
A hero should beleive in theme selves. Any one can accomplish any thing if they belive in them selves. thought that you are doing the right thing in your own mind drives you to do tha thing. that is beliving in your self. although you can be a hero without posessing this trait, you arn`t a hero in my book untill you belive in your self.
Loyalty is unswerining in allegiance. A hero must be loyal, he must be just for his cause. Heros can be counted on, they will always stand up for you for believing in doing and saying the right thing. If they say they are going to do some thing they are going to do it.
Wisdom is powerful in a hero. Having insite to good scence and judgment is a trait that i belive should be in every great hero. Wisdom normaly comes with age but in the case of most stereotypical heros they aren't that old, but, have just seen a thing or two to aquire this knowledge. Most heros have some kind of knowledge advantage over most people.
There are two sides of respect that i think a hero should have. A hero must be respectable, and also have respect for others. A respectable hero dresses properly for every occasion. You know when you are looking at hero if they are in a Superman or Spiderman suit but in their day to day you will never recognize them. They are well manored along with showing gratitude for others.
Every hero is caring, they put others above themselves. They want to help people that can't help themselves. They make sure everyone is taken care of, even themselves. Everyone needs someone to care about them. A hero shows they care by saving lives, putting out fires, helping with natural distasters. Hero's are the ones that care when no one else does.
Showing kindness to another person that might not see it offten, it could just make their day. A hero shows kindness in the many different little things they do like picking up garbage they see on the road to donating money to charities. Kindness can be shown in many ways also like saying hi to someone if they look sad to help your parents clean.
A hero has integrity, like a police officer or a banker. You might not count them as a hero but they have to have integrity because they are left to take care of other peoples safety or money. More people need to have integrity becuase then we wouldn't have as many robberies, killings.
Some that shows compasion to others can be thought of as a hero. To show compasion means to sympathise and show you care about others. Compasion is needed most when a person is down, sick or hurt. A hero has to show compasion when they are helping people. They dont know if they would make something worse or if something could set them off. They know how to be sensitive.
Not many people have great patience anymore. Everyone just wants things done instantly and not worrying about what the consequences that might happen later. A hero has to have great patience because they have to deal with many different people. Everyone can learn to be more patienct then they our today.
Determination is what every hero has. They are determinded to make the world better and more safe for us and our children and the children to come. The more determination a person has, the more likely it will get done and be done greatly.
